This Week! (March 24 - 30)

Last Tuesday (March 24) was P-day and transfer day! We got up at the crack of dawn to drive to Gulfport.  We dropped off the peeps waiting for the transfer van and then loaded up all the sister missionaries who were companion-less and went to the library to email.  After the library we all went to the bike shop that a member recommended and I bought a bike!  I love it.  I really do!  It fits me so much better and I go a LOT faster than I used to ;)

Then we went to Raising Canes for lunch! I see why so many people talked about/ went there in high school.  It's gooood.  They're opening one in Ocean Springs in April and we're excited!  It's like the In-N-Out of chicken.

Tracting in our area involves a lot of walking (the houses are really far apart) and you never know what you'll find.   Last week, we met a woman who has chickens named after Biblical people.  We met Adam and Eve, Mary and Martha and Esther and Ruth!  David and Goliath had to be separated.  Most of the chickens had Bible names except for Elsa, Anna and Olaf who were named by her granddaughter.  The lady was fun to talk to, but she just didn't want to believe that there is more goodness for her.  That's sooo hard here!  It's so hard to get people to understand that we don't have a different Jesus and we don't want to replace what they already know!  We met another lady while tracting on Saturday who told us, "I know all about what you believe.  You have a different Jesus and I don't want your Bible."  AUGH. So frustrating.

Saturday and Sunday were kinda slow to because the THUNDERBIRDS came to Keesler Air Force Base and tracting during the airshow was really quite pointless; no one was home!  But we were trying to tract in a neighborhood where we actually got a pretty good view of the planes flying over us!  It was so awesome.

THUNDERBIRDS!

Here are some of the signs I’ve seen in front of churches:
"Does your spiritual house need a spring cleaning?"
"People may doubt what you say but they will always believe what you do"
"Do you know how to get to heaven? Come learn how to get to heaven!"
"Dust on your Bible brings dirt into your life!"
"Books and the internet may inform but the Spirit transforms!"
"We sin.... but Jesus saves!"
"God's love for you is infinite... is your love for God infinite?"

But the most inspirational marquee that I've seen is:
STOP WISHING AND START DOING
It was on a storage unit place.

HAVE A GREAT WEEK I LOVE YOU ALL SEND ME MAIL Y’ALL ARE THE BEST

Love,
Sister Nash
