This will be short but here we go! This week was busy!
The biggest thing we had all week was our youth fireside
yesterday. We didn’t have a lot of time
to plan it (not that we haven't known about it forever...) but it turned out
well! Our fireside was about how it's
OUR job as missionaries to take care of people's spiritual conversion but it's
THEIR job to take care of their social conversion (aka be their FRIEND!). It was good.

Saturday's big excitement was the Ward Harvest! Twice a year, before General Conference, the
bishopric writes letters inviting less-actives back to church. The ward gathers at the church for a big
breakfast and then they go out and deliver them!
We learned this week that people watch us. As in, we got dropped off on a random street
in our area after an appointment (we were planning to tract up until our dinner
appointment) and, as we walked up to a guy's house, he came out on the phone
and said that he was talking to his son across the street. He said they were trying to figure out if we
really were just let out! He wasn't
interested in the gospel but he talked to us for a while about watching us walk
around. And then we talked to his
daughter-in-law across the street about the same thing. Then we walked past a member’s house on the
way to our dinner appointment and they told us the next day that they saw us
and asked where were we going and what were we doing?? So, it's good to know that people are watching
out for us!
We also had ward correlation this week. That was good. Our ward mission leader is sooooo busy but
he's really nice and helpful!
I wish I could think of more! We've been teaching the same people. It's been a slowish week because of all of the
rain and we've been on bikes :/
Love,
Sister Nash
